“ An exceptional experience - one that would garner Michelin recognition in San Francisco, New York or Tuscany. Lovely expression of highly local ingredients in modern dishes that build on each other in a very thoughtful way. Standouts included a “barbecue” langoustine with cucumber salad that hit the sweet smoky flavors right on the nose, without any heavy sauce, and perfectly medium rare duck breast with just a hint of sweetness in the long-reduced juices that accompanied it. The wine suggestion was perfect, even though the sommelier claimed not to like Orange wines. The only miss was a one-note lemon and gin dessert that was simply too uniformly sour. Each bite gave the same shock of eye watering tartness. But genuinely, this place is special. The service didn’t do everything exactly right, but they were trying hard to and very attentive. The view is just indescribably gorgeous. As the guide says, this restaurant is absolutely worth a trip. ”

“ Came here for an anniversary dinner and this place was so romantic, excellent service and impeccable food. I’m still dreaming of the bread and olive oil starters. I live in NYC and it’s true what they say, the carbs are made different in Italy. I ate multiple pieces of bread and pasta and my stomach felt so light after the meal whereas back home, I would be bloated. We started with the scallops with caviar on top - so soft it melts in your mouth. The sauce that it’s paired with adds an explosion of flavor that ties it together nicely. The steak was perfectly cooked to our liking, so juicy and tons of flavor. So happy to spend our anniversary here! ”
